Santa Eulària City Council's commitment to action in this area has resulted in various actions to promote universal accessibility, such as joining REDESTABLE, by signing the Manifesto for Accessible Tourism, in which the Town Council expresses its desire to promote accessible tourism in different areas of tourism.

Beaches in the municipality with an accessible flag
Santa Eulària des Riu has implemented and certified a universal accessibility management system in accordance with UNE 170001, making it the first beach in the Balearic Islands to receive this award. This certificate was obtained in July 2013.
In 2017, a series of improvements were made to infrastructure and services at Cala Llonga beach, also obtaining Universal Accessibility certification in July 2017, making it the second fully accessible beach in the municipality equipped to offer adapted toilets with full guarantee and safety.
And in 2022, a series of improvements were made to infrastructure and services at es Canar, also obtaining Universal Accessibility certification in May 2024, making it the third fully accessible municipal beach to be equipped with adapted toilets with full guarantee and safety.

The UNE 170001-2 standard constitutes the reference framework for designing, implementing and maintaining a Universal Accessibility System, and the basis for this design are the DALCO requirements.

Improvements made to the infrastructure of Santa Eulalia beach and its surroundings.
- Signposting of adapted car parks from Sant Jaume street.
- Pedestrian signposting of adapted access to the beach, from Passeig de s'Alamera and Passeig Marítim.
- Routing strip of the adapted itinerary from the parking area to the promenade and access to the beach.
- Installation of walkways with a width of 180 cm in accordance with current legislation, allowing an accessible route to reach all the beach services (bathing area, sun lounger area, shower, toilets and the accessible point).
- Installation of a shaded area reserved for people with disabilities where the assisted bathing service provided by Red Cross staff is carried out.
