Antonio Marí Marí is a graduate in Physical Education from the University of León. He is an employee at the Ibiza Island Council, where he has worked for over 12 years at the Es Raspallar sports centre.
He also worked for five years at the Sant Josep de sa Talaia Town Hall as a sports coach and managed the administration and maintenance of all municipal sports facilities. In his professional career, he has been the person in charge and responsible for the weight room and bodybuilding and weight training coach at the Infanta Cristina facilities in Es Raspallar. He was swimming coach at the Santa Eulalia Sailing Club for the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons, where he was in charge of the beginner and competition groups. During the final season, he was also head coach at the Consell d’Eivissa Sport High Performance Centre. He has worked as a coach and physical trainer in other clubs on the island of Eivissa such as the Puig d’en Valls Basketball Club, SCR Peña Deportiva, Atlético Jesús football club or CD Puig d’en Valls.
In terms of his political career, Antonio Marí Marí has been a councillor at Santa Eulària des Riu Town Hall since 2007, always in his capacity as a councillor for Es Puig d’en Valls parish. During this period, he was in charge of Sports and currently manages the General Services and Maintenance department.
