Enrolment process
REGISTRATION RENEWAL PROCEDURE
People who are already studying at the Municipal Music School of Santa Eulària des Riu can renew their registration for the next course from July 1 to 5 by filling out the attached form and making the payment of €40.
NOTE: To renew registration for the next course you must be up to date with all monthly payments for the current course.
Bonus request: until September 20.
Students who are currently taking Early Childhood Initiation 3 and want to request an instrument for the next course
They can pre-register and request an instrument from July 1 to 5. They must request three instruments in order of priority. At the time of pre-registration and instrument request, no payment must be made.
- Application for a place: from July 1 to 5.
- Provisional lists: July 8.
- Review period: July 9 and 10.
- Definitive lists: July 11.
- Registration of admitted students: from July 11 to 18.

PROCEDURE FOR THE ALLOCATION OF PLACES TO NEW STUDENTS - ORDER OF PREFERENCE
- Registered in the municipality with at least a second family member enrolled.
- Registered in the municipality.
- Official students who have requested a change of instrument within the deadline.
- Not registered in the municipality with at least a second family member.
- Not registered in the municipality.
In equal conditions, preference will be given to the order of registration.
The registration and enrolment process will be done online.
A waiting list will also be opened for each speciality, in case of cancellations or resignations. This list will be valid only for the current academic year and will not be extended for more than one academic year.
- Application for a place: July 8 to 19.
- Provisional lists: July 22.
- Review period: July 23 and 24.
- Final lists: July 25.
- Admitted student registration: July 25 to 30.
The order of preference will be as follows:
- Official students who have not obtained a place in the first instrument option.
- In order of registration.
IMPORTANT for students on the waiting list who obtain a place:
Those students who have no previous knowledge of musical language can only join during the first month of the course.
Other students who have previous knowledge of musical language (which can be proved with a test at the Municipal School of Music or with an official certificate) will be able to join during the whole academic year.

INSTRUMENT ALLOCATION RULES FOR BEGINNERS III STUDENTS
The adjudication and enrolment will take place during the month of June, after the end of the school term and once the number of places available has been counted.
Official students applying for the first year will apply for three instrumental specialities, in order of preference. If they do not obtain an instrument from the first option, they will move on to the second and third.
The order of preference for the adjudication will be:
1- Length of service at the center (if they have taken one, two or three introductory courses).
2- In the event of a tie, the youngest student will have priority.
3- By draw in case of equality.
IMPORTANT: Those students who want to study piano or percussion must have their own instrument to be able to study at home.
ASSISTANCE
If the student fails to attend any of the subjects stipulated in the course for unjustified reasons and accumulates three absences, the school may cancel the student's registration and offer the place to another person. All subjects are compulsory, including participation in auditions and concerts. Non-attendance may be grounds for failing the course.
Classes will not be made up for non-attendance or for local/national holidays. In case of illness of the teacher, the student will be contacted in order to make up the class. In the event that the student is injured and cannot follow the classes normally, is travelling or is absent for any other reason, this will not exempt him/her from paying the monthly fees; otherwise, he/she will have to formalise the cancellation. Nor will it be possible to claim a refund of the fees.
STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Cases detected with special needs must be reported, so that the school can assess, before the start of the course, whether they have the appropriate means to be able to attend to them correctly. If this is not stated, the school reserves the right to cancel the enrolment if it considers that the corresponding service cannot be offered.
REIMBURSEMENT OF PAYMENTS
A refund of the amount paid will only be made in the event of an error attributable to the Municipal School of Music.
VIRTUAL CLASSROOM
At the beginning of each course, the School of Music will create a virtual classroom and students will be added to it in order to be able to work through this tool.
It will be compulsory to have a gmail or google email address in order to access the virtual classroom of the School of Music.
In addition, the School of Music will create messaging groups via WhatsApp to be able to inform as soon as possible of any setbacks or information of interest in or out of school hours.
INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The data controller is the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Council. The purpose of the processing is the management of the courses of the Municipal School of Music. The legitimacy for the processing is based on your consent. The data will be kept for the periods provided for in the applicable legal provisions and for the time necessary to meet possible liabilities arising from the processing. Your data will not be communicated to third parties unless legally obliged to do so. You have the right to request access to said personal data, its rectification, deletion or portability, the limitation of its processing and to oppose its processing at the Town Hall Secretary's Office located at Plaza España, núm. 1, Santa Eulària des Riu 07840, as well as to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
