The Town Council of Santa Eulària des Riu will begin Spanish language classes for European residents for the 2024-25 academic year on October 14th at the Santa Eulària location and October 15th in Jesús, continuing this year due to the positive reception. The initiative, led by the
Department of Citizen Participation, aims to help European residents settle more easily in the municipality. It offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, with each class lasting one hour and being completely free of charge.
The number of seats for the Spanish courses is limited, based on classroom size. To register, residents must provide a copy of their passport/NIE, proof of residency (registration certificate), and complete a registration form, which will be distributed during the first days of the course. In Santa Eulària, classes will be held in the morning at the Club Náutico Santa Eulalia offices on Mondays and Wednesdays (9:30 a.m. for beginners, 10:30 a.m. for intermediate, and 11:30 a.m. for advanced). Meanwhile, in the Jesús Cultural Center, there is an option to study in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays (5:00 p.m. for beginners, 6:00 p.m. for intermediate).
