The 2022 edition of the Ibiza Tourism Forum will study the different possible strategies to minimize the negative impact that the effects of the current economic and geopolitical crisis affecting Europe and, therefore, have on the tourism sector. extension to the whole world. The ninth edition of the event will take place on November 25 at the Cultural Center of Jesus.
Under the title 'Objective 2023: resilience and competitiveness', the meeting will be structured in a master conference, entitled 'Analysis of the macroeconomic situation and its effect on tourism' and three panels, which will tackle issues of macro and microeconomic interest from different perspectives. The panels will be 'Keys to success in tourism governance in times of change', 'Next Generation European Funds: are they really having a transforming effect on the economy and the tourism sector?' and 'Effective measures in the hotel sector in the face of the increase of costs'.
The main objective of the Ibiza Tourism Forum, organized by Santa Eulària Empresarial and Santa Eulària des Riu City Council, sponsored by the Consell d'Eivissa, is to create a space with businessmen, professionals, employers, promotion entities, authorities and students from the entire tourism value chain, to share experiences, experiences and trends around a topic of interest.
